| The Aucoin Wedding @ Lilly Creek Farms|
Imagine the perfect fairy tale style wedding where you marry your high school sweetheart as it was foretold in the stars. This perfect little April wedding might have had a few April showers but they just made the day even more enchanting as the tree frogs hummed in the lake and made the most beautiful song at Lilly Creek Farms. The bridal party bouquets were filled with beautiful array of rainbow colors to match all of the colors worn by the bridesmaids. Hues in tangerine, blue, lavender, green, yellow and shades of pinks. Everything took it’s delicate que from the brides bouquet which was a brilliant garden designed bouquet filled with glorious peach Campanella garden roses, David Austen Strawberry Hill pink roses, Blessings & Sweet Unique roses. Kendall’s bouquet also had a garden mix of White Cremon mums, peach & red Butterfly Ranunculus, dark blue delphinium, Matricaria, lavender Limonium, white Scabiosia, and eucalyptus. The big statement add ins were tangerine, yellow, white and peach Poppies for their name sake puppy. I also added in a keepsake hand monogrammed handkerchief from her mom, along with a keepsake rhinestone blue butterfly pin from us, and the iconic “marry the boy next door ribbon” from her engagement bouquet, because she is indeed marring the boy next door. The 8 bridesmaids each had a slightly smaller versions of her bouquet all tied with a ivory sheer ribbon. Each of the mom’s had a even smaller nosegay bouquet replica, just to keep it all very classy and matching for the photos. The groom had a boutonniere of a white and pink spray rose, dark blue delphinium and with a tangerine Ranunculus to mimic a poppy since they are quite large for a boutonniere. The groomsmen all had white roses, with yellow billy balls (symbolic of their time playing travel baseball together) Matricaria, lavender Limonium, and eucalyptus. The fathers and grand fathers boutonnieres were white roses with dark blue delphinium and a white sheer ribbon which matched up the grandmother wristlet corsages. The pearl keepsake bracelets held a mix of white spray roses, a few small tangerine Ranunculus buds, blue delphinium, Matricaria, lavender Limonium, and eucalyptus. For the aisle markers I made two on site large urns with all of the bridal party flowers that were marked in the ceremony entry and 6 matching aisle markers. The cross held a matching large ceremony spray. These items were repurposed into the reception hall as 6 table centerpieces and the the sweethearts table urns. Alternate tables contained smaller bud vase of cut stem flowers in a variety of combinations to dress out the tables, 34 in total, in conjunction with the repurposing the bridesmaid bouquets in vase once seated. The spectacular 5 tier cake contained a cascade of fresh cut mixed bridal flowers laid onto the each of the layers in a trailing effect from top to bottom. For a stunning 4 foot tall show stopper. The toss bouquet was a mini version which contained a retro fortune telling ribbon for the recipient stating ” you will marry a millionaire” just for fun. As the evening came to a spectacular closing with late night pizza, one last private dance for the bride and groom, a fireworks show followed by a helicopter exit, talk about your dream fairy tale ending.
