WEDDINGS

Brittany + Taylor

| The Shumake Wedding @ Walnut Forks Baptist Church |

Talk about your traditional, country style church wedding, this beauty had everything you would expect from pink lemonade and cheese straws to homemade dessert mints. This sweet bride had a vibrate pink and blue theme for the entire wedding which was carried forward in  another southern summer tradition of Nikko Blue hydrangeas. The bride’s bouquet was all blue hydrangea filled with ivory Vendella roses, and Pink Majolica roses. The bridesmaids wearing pink carried hand tied bouquets of blue hydrangea with ivory and pink roses. The boutonnieres were all white mini calla lilies and touches of  blue tweedia.  The mother’s carried pink rose nosegays in lieu of corsages. The altar had two large arrangements filled with blue hydrangeas, full sized calla lilies, Vendella roses, and Pink Majolica roses. A customized aisle runner was lined with more pink rose petals to line the entire church aisle. The pew markers were pink satin and tulle bows with long tulle streamer to the floor on every pew. The church’s reception hall had matching tulle drapes lined with twinkle lights and full petal drench tables with hurricanes lanterns filled with pillar candles. The couples cake was a pretty iced cream cheese cake with pale pink and blue frosting on a petal lined table, and the matching toss bouquet resided there until it was time to be thrown.
