| The Martin Wedding @ Milford Farms |
Such a beautiful first day of October for a simply southern, down home country wedding on the farm. This beautiful bridal party flower collection consisted of hand tied white hydrangeas, Vendella, Tibet and Akito roses, with baby’s breath and as a special memory tribute flower to the brides grandmother plus we added in seasonal Queen Anne’s lace. All of the boutonnières were custom made babies breath bundles that were placed into beautiful rare antique rifle shells, courtesy of the groom’s grandfather. The bridesmaids wore boots and denim jackets with their dresses, while the groomsmen sported jeans, cowboy hats and suede vests. The guests got cozy on old vintage reclaimed church pews with vintage quilts, in a big open field surrounded by fields of cows and horses. The aisle was lined with large Jack Daniels barrels topped with large hand tied bouquets of baby’s breath. There was a custom made cross as the altar which stood unadorned against the bluest of skies. Inside the barn the reception tables were lined with hand painted mason jars in signature colors of teal and mango which sat atop thick, hand cut tree ring chargers. The mason jars were filled with Queens Anne’s lace, white hydrangea and Tibet roses which looked like you picked they right out the field next door. Over at the cake table decorated with little babies breath tuffs, and wooden crates, everyone got a homemade cupcake to take home with them to put under their pillow, in true southern fashion.
