| The Brumbaugh Wedding @ Bona Allen |
Bona Allen is a beautiful historical mansion located off Main Street in downtown Buford. The bride chose a traditional cascade style bouquet filled with Vendella and Virginia roses, white stock, dendrobium orchids, white alstroemeria, pearl head stephanotis, green verbena and lime green hypericum berries. The bridesmaids dressed in garnet, held a bold and bright mix of Gold Strike, Pink Floyd, and Orange Unique rose bouquets; filled with lime green button mums, pink wax flower and red hyipercum berries. The mothers carried mini nosegays version of the bridesmaid bouquets in sterling silver holders each engraved with their personalized initials. The groomsmen and fathers boutonnières were all red Freedom roses with green hypericum berries. The groom had a white Vendella rose to match his bride and her bouquet. The ceremony aisle was fully lined with white rose petals and large altar floral arrangement fill of red, yellow, and white roses, Belles of Ireland , solidago, lime green spider mums and drippy ivy flanked by lions. Inside a bright matching mantle garland cerated a focal backdrop for the cake as you walked in the reception hall. The large 3 tier raised cake allowed 6″ of space for stacked roses and flowers to be filled in between each of the layers for a very grand and stately look. Matching table centerpieces lined the room and balcony above for the buffet, and the two outdoor urns were relocated onto the buffet tables after pictures were completed. A fun breakaway toss had 5 seperate mini bouquets each with a fortune for each of the recipients.
