| The Jacobs Wedding @The Biltmore |
This wedding had all the classic echos of a royal wedding, especially with a large wedding party of 20. Which including 8 bridesmaids dressed immaculately in coral, 8 groomsmen in black tuxedos, 2 dainty flower girls in white and 2 adorable ring bearers. The flowers were designed in an Old World English Garden interpretation, which included the feature flower Sandra Bernhardt Peonies, that just happened to be in season. We added a regal mix of roses Lulu a watermelon color and Mambo and lovely orange color. Various shades of purple Freesia, Stock, Status, and Hydrangea paired nicely with Orange Asiatic Lilies, Tropicana Alstroemeria, and Burgundy Snapdragons. We also used 6 different types of greenery to truly invoke the English Garden feeling with focus on variegated Ivies, Salal also known as Lemon Leaf and Italian Ruskus. The great halls of the Biltmore Hotel truly called for a mixture of high and low table arrangements to draw ones eye around the vast room and truly fill the space, and it was an amazing feat to have all the tables moved out of the side wings in the the ballroom during the cocktail hour change over as the room flipped from the ceremony space to the reception hall as all 300 guest loaded out into bar area in hotel the lobby.
