| The Harkins Wedding @ Copey Creek|
Welcome to this large family gathering where two hearts are joined together as one. This simply elegant wedding took place on a local family owned farm, located in the picturesque foothills of the North Georgia mountains. Copey Creek has some of the most beautiful views from the old hayloft which has now been converted into a magnificent wedding venue. For this ultra chic bohemian style wedding you will see a luxurious mixture of seeded and silver dollar eucalyptus combined throughout the entire bridal party along with the reception site tables lined with dusty rose gauze and flat lay greenery. Since this wedding was taking place in January, a seasonal selection botanicals like Proteas, antique burgundy hypericum berries and blue thistle were added to create a nice wintery textural mix to the rich tones of the Black Bacarra, Quicksand, Coffee Break and Amnesia roses. Pretty merlot colored Cremon mums where the focal flower for the Men’s boutonnieres accented with Seeded Eucalyptus for a distinctly southern folk farmhouse look. The custom made wedding arbor was built for the first of six granddaughter’s, by their Pop Pop, and had each of their names inscribed into the back of it. The cake was baked by the Mother of the Bride, as I provided assistance in the in the addition of the satin ribbon addition and floral placement to make it picture perfect.
