| The Parten Wedding @ Windermere Country Club |

Pretty as a peacock would be the color story for this spring country club wedding. The bride and matron of honors matching bouquets were bold statement pieces of  aubergine mini callas, lime green hydrangea, fuschia stock, plum tulips, vendella roses and unclipped peacock feathers. Since all of the colors of the wedding were being pulled from the peacock feather had many colors to choose from including gold, shades of blue, green, and purple. For the mothers pearl keepsake wristlet corsages I used gold gilded white Eskimo Spray roses, fuschia stock, lime green hydrangea, peacock feathers and blue ribbon to match the matron of honors dress. While the grandmothers pin on corsage where the same minus the fuschia stock to keep them slightly different. All the boutonnieres were the same a single peacock feather with lime green hydrangea tuff, pittosporum and teal wire coils. The clubhouse fireplace was used as the ceremony area and I created a large matching mantle garland arrangement to stretch the length of the mantle, flanked my glass vases with floating candles. There were two large buffet urns of matching flowers located in the adjacent room for the reception. The cake had tuffs of hydrangea ringing each layer with spots of fuschia stock random speckled throughout and a plumm of peacock feather adoring the top with a “P” to simulate the peacock body.
